We have now installed Mod_Gzip on US servers.

This excellent module can signifcantly reduce the loading time of your webpages including HTML and Javascript.

Mod_gzip can typically reduce pages by 80% compared to their original size by compressing the pages from the server and then decompressing the pages at browser level. Internet browsers since 1998 are supported. Internet Explorer* Mozilla* and Opera are supported also browsers supporting the HTTP 1.1 standard.

HTML* PHP* javascript and general text pages are gzipped. [Gzip-Encoded]

The result is a much improved experience for your visitors. Webpages load very fast on the web browser. This forum uses Gzip* can you feel the difference?
